Job summary

GDI| is seeking a Lift Boat Captain with the ability to secure Aramco approval. The role requires STCW-2010 II/2 and at least two years as Master on a self-propelled jack-up barge.

Degree from maritime academy or university, with related licenses and certifications, is required. You will oversee offshore vessel operations, docking, navigation, and jacking, ensuring seaworthiness and compliance with international and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree from a recognized Maritime Academy or University.
• Master License STCW95 II/2 valid 5 years - Unlimited
• Endorsement of Licence COE (Certificate of Equivalence).
• Valid basic safety training STCW.
• Proficiency in Rescue Boat and Survival Craft A-VI/2-1.
• Advanced Fire Fighting A-VI/3.
• Medical fitness certificate A-VI/4-2.
• GMDSS A-IV/2 with vessel flag state endorsement.
• ARPA A-II/1 STCW Code.
• Proficiency in security or SSO - STCW Code.
• Seafarer Medical fitness certificate - STCW code.

Responsibilities

• Control vessel operations in compliance with international and local maritime laws.
• Ensure safe undocking, navigation and jacking between offshore/port locations.
• Maintain watertight integrity of the vessel at all times.
• Directly supervise all vessel moves and jacking operations.
• Monitor operations impacting seaworthiness and ensure compliance.
• Ensure watertight integrity is maintained at all times.
• Secure materials and equipment for sea and weather conditions.
• Ensure safe helicopter operations are conducted.
