Job summary

TotalTECH Corporation in Riyadh seeks an experienced Network & Security Operations Engineer to manage and optimize our LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, VLANs, routing, and Internet connectivity. You will work with Cisco switches and FortiGate firewalls, while supporting cloud networking components, VPNs, and load balancers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Network & Security Operations / Managed Services.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking and FortiGate firewalls.
• Good knowledge of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VLAN, TCP/IP, routing, VPN, and network security.
• Experience with cloud networking and hybrid connectivity.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of ITIL and SLA-based service management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VLANs, routing, Internet connectivity, Cisco switches, and FortiGate firewalls.
• Administer and troubleshoot cloud networking, including virtual networks, subnets, routing, VPNs, private connectivity, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Proactively monitor network and security infrastructure and respond to alerts.
• Handle network, connectivity, performance, and security incidents within agreed SLA.
• Coordinate with ISPs, cloud providers, OEMs, and third parties when required.
• Perform approved configuration changes and maintain configuration backups and documentation.
• Manage and coordinate patching, firmware updates, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Support firewall policies, network segmentation, access controls, hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
• Monitor network performance and capacity and recommend improvements.
• Maintain network diagrams, asset/configuration records, incident/change records, and operational reports.
• Escalate complex issues to the Vendor's L2/L3 Managed Services team as required.
