Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own network architecture and operations across campuses, data centers, cloud connections and inter-hospital links, including wired, wireless and voice networks.
• Design and troubleshoot routing, switching, IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, quality of service, redundancy and network performance.
• Implement and maintain firewalls, network access control, intrusion prevention, secure remote access and segmentation of clinical, medical device, corporate and guest networks.
• Manage secure configurations, patching, vulnerability remediation, privileged access and network logging with the cybersecurity team.
• Lead network incident response and root cause analysis; coordinate cyber incident containment with security operations and clinical stakeholders.
• Validate coverage, capacity and failover; maintain monitoring, configuration backups, recovery procedures and controlled maintenance windows.
• Manage engineers, vendors, budgets, service levels and documentation; coordinate safe medical device connectivity with Biomedical Engineering.

Lead the design, security and reliable operation of the hospital group's

networks, protecting clinical connectivity and enabling continuous hospital

services across all facilities.

• Required experience 8+ years in enterprise networking, including 3+ years leading teams and substantial hands-on network security experience.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Deep practical knowledge of enterprise routing and switching, wireless design, firewalls, segmentation and network security troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting hospitals or comparable critical 24/7 environments; strong incident, change and vendor management skills.

Preferred qualifications:

Professional networking and security certifications; hospital network and connected medical device experience; experience with security monitoring platforms.
