Job summary

Excis is hiring a Network Engineer L1/L2 to support and maintain enterprise and data centre network infrastructure. The role involves configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting complex networks, with emphasis on Cisco ACI/Nexus, DMVPN, and SD-WAN in a banking/financial style enterprise.

The candidate will work with senior engineers and security teams to ensure secure, resilient, and highly available networks. Saudi Arabia-based role located in Jeddah, with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in enterprise or data centre networking.
• Hands-on with Cisco ACI, Nexus, APIC and ANP.
• Experience with DMVPN and SD-WAN.
• Experience with VMware NSX-T and network virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise and data centre network infrastructure.
• Support highly available and business-critical environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus switches and data centre technologies.
• Support Cisco ACI, including APIC, ANPs, tenants and contracts.
• Monitor network performance, security, and reliability; manage capacity planning.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, server and virtualization teams.
• Participate in maintenance windows and on-call support.
