Job summary

SRG MINING is seeking an experienced HSE professional to implement and monitor safety policies at our exploration site and camp in Saudi Arabia.

You will conduct risk assessments, deliver inductions and training, investigate incidents, manage permits, and ensure regulatory compliance with local environmental standards. The role involves remote desert operations and rotation schedules to support mining activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HSE experience in mining, exploration, oil & gas, or construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Recognized HSE certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or IOSH.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

• Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training for employees and contractors
• Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and follow up on corrective actions
• Manage permit-to-work, PPE compliance, and emergency response readiness, including first aid and evacuation plans
• Monitor vehicle and journey management for remote desert operations
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, including the requirements of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and environmental standards
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports and maintain HSE records and statistics

What we’re looking for.

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of HSE experience, preferably in mining, exploration, oil and gas, or construction
• Recognized HSE certification such as NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or IOSH
• Experience working in remote sites and camp environments
• Valid first aid certification
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to work on a rotation schedule at the site
