Merchandising Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandising Specialist to join our team in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will have experience in merchandising, preferably in the retail industry, and possess strong analytical skills. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and executing merchandising strategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective merchandising plans for new product launches
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly
• Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products
• Work closely with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and product quality
• Develop visual merchandising displays that are eye-catching and aligned with brand standards
• Conduct store visits to ensure proper implementation of merchandising plans and provide feedback to store managers
• Train store staff on product knowledge, proper display techniques, and selling strategies
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Minimum of 2 years experience in merchandising, preferably in the retail industry
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make strategic decisions
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English; fluency in Arabic is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and inventory management systems
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia for store visits (valid biometric passport required)
• Egyptian nationality preferred
