Job summary

Seder Group Trading and Contracting is seeking a qualified professional to perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on medium voltage switchgear and distribution systems in our facilities. The role involves diagnosing faults, executing planned and emergency repairs, and restoring power efficiently while upholding safety standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a Journeyman or Master Electrician license with MV certifications (NETA, SEL) and have 5+ years of hands-on MV experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license required; MV certifications (NETA, SEL) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with medium voltage systems in industrial/utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret complex schematics, single-line diagrams, and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on medium voltage switchgear transformers and distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults in medium voltage equipment using diagnostic tools and schematics.
• Execute planned and emergency repairs on medium voltage circuits, substations and related equipment to minimize downtime and restore power.
• Install, commission and test new medium voltage equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specs.

Qualifications

• Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Electrical Technology or a related field is highly preferred.
• Hold a valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license, with specific certifications in medium voltage systems (e.g., NETA, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories).
• Have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with medium voltage electrical systems, preferably within industrial or utility environments.
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and P&IDs.
