Job summary

ABIS is seeking a Procurement Engineer - Mechanical (Shutdown & Turnaround) in Saudi Arabia to lead and coordinate procurement of mechanical equipment and materials for shutdown projects. You will ensure timely procurement, vendor management, and compliance with company and Saudi Aramco standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in mechanical, shutdown/turnaround.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contracts.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco procurement standards.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement plans for shutdown and turnaround activities.
• Source and qualify suppliers/vendors for mechanical equipment and materials.
• Prepare procurement documentation, including RFQs, purchase orders, and contracts.
• Monitor procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Coordinate with project and maintenance teams to understand material requirements and priorities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Saudi Aramco procurement standards.
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve procurement-related issues.
• Support budgeting and cost control activities related to procurement.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
