Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in mechanical inspection, quality assurance, construction supervision, or related field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components
  • Strong understanding of Saudi Building Code (SBC), local building regulations, and international construction standards
  • Proficiency in technical documentation, blueprint reading, and CAD software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are preferred
  • Proficiency with inspection software, digital documentation systems, and data management tools
  • Demonstrated supervisory and team leadership experience with contractors and site personnel
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols and ability to enforce compliance on construction sites

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural) to ensure SBC and international standards compliance
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and provide corrective actions with justification
  • Supervise mechanical contractors and installation teams ensuring quality and timely completion
  • Verify system functionality through testing and commissioning procedures
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve issues and support project goals
  • Maintain organized records of inspections, test results, and compliance documentation
  • Identify safety hazards and implement corrective/preventive actions
  • Mentor junior inspectors and site personnel on procedures and standards
  • Monitor mechanical equipment performance and recommend maintenance/replacement strategies
  • Ensure work meets QA standards throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage multiple inspection projects with high attention to detail
  • Communicate findings to diverse stakeholders clearly and professionally

Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and professional Mechanical Inspector to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive mechanical inspections, ensuring strict compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and international construction standards, and supervising mechanical systems installation and testing. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with exceptional analytical skills to maintain the highest quality standards throughout all projects while fostering a collaborative and transparent work environment.

  • Conduct thorough and systematic inspections of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components, ensuring full compliance with Saudi Building Code regulations and international standards
  • Prepare detailed, accurate inspection reports and technical documentation, analyzing findings and recommending corrective actions with clear justification and supporting evidence
  • Supervise mechanical contractors and installation teams, ensuring work quality, adherence to project specifications, and timely project completion while maintaining professional relationships
  • Verify mechanical systems functionality through comprehensive testing and commissioning procedures, documenting all results and certifications with precision and accuracy
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve mechanical issues, maintain project progress, and support team objectives in a transparent manner
  • Maintain organized and accessible records of all inspections, test results, and compliance documentation for audit and regulatory purposes
  • Identify potential safety hazards and non-conformances proactively, implementing corrective measures and preventive actions to ensure site safety and regulatory compliance
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior inspectors and site personnel on inspection procedures, quality standards, and best practices
  • Monitor mechanical equipment performance and recommend maintenance or replacement strategies based on analytical assessment and industry standards
  • Ensure all work meets contractual requirements and quality assurance standards throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Manage multiple inspection projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and organizational efficiency
  • Communicate inspection findings and technical recommendations to diverse stakeholders in a clear, professional, and accessible manner
