Job summary

MAFAS-Mahmal Facilities Services seeks a senior Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of mall mechanical systems. You will manage operations for HVAC, chillers, ventilation, plumbing, and associated equipment, ensuring safe and comfortable environments for visitors and tenants.

Key duties include coordinating with technicians and contractors, developing PM plans, monitoring performance, and producing reports while upholding HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience.
• 5+ years in facilities management, preferably in malls.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, chillers, ventilation and plumbing systems.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Knowledge of HSE requirements and maintenance standards.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple maintenance activities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for mechanical systems and equipment.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps and ventilation.
• Oversee mechanical maintenance in malls to support a safe, comfortable environment.
• Monitor HVAC performance and indoor conditions across retail and common areas.
• Troubleshoot equipment and ensure timely resolution of breakdowns.
• Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, suppliers and mall management.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans and schedules.
• Monitor performance, identify failures and recommend improvements.
• Prepare maintenance reports, inspection records and technical documentation.
• Follow up on work orders and maintenance requests for timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and maintenance standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience.
• Previous experience in Facility Management is a must with at least 5 years in similar role.
• Previous experience in Malls is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, chillers, ventilation, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Knowledge of HSE requirements and maintenance standards.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
