Job summary

• Support preventive, reactive and corrective maintenance planning.
• Monitor spare parts usage and ensure safety QA compliance.

The Mechanical Engineer supports the Senior MEP Engineer in managing the operation and maintenance of all Mechanical systems within the Primary Nursery Facility at NEOM. The role focuses primarily on mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, hydraulics, and vertical transportation systems, ensuring their reliability, safety, and performance in alignment with project standards and operational goals.

Working closely with service providers, contractors, and internal stakeholders, the Mechanical Engineer is responsible for coordinating and supervising day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities, supporting preventive, reactive and corrective maintenance planning, monitoring spare parts usage, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality assurance measures. The role also involves contributing to asset condition assessments, project commissioning, and continuous service improvements to maintain operational excellence across the facility.

Qualifications: Must have BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

Experience : 4-6 years’ experience in mechanical design principles, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems, and conversant with relevant standards.

Good knowledge of SAP & MAXIMO system as a monitoring & tracking tool.
