Job summary

The Mechanical Engineer supports the Senior MEP Engineer in managing the operation and maintenance of all Mechanical systems at NEOM's Primary Nursery Facility. Focus on HVAC, plumbing, hydraulics and vertical transport to ensure reliability, safety and performance aligned with project standards.

Collaborates with service providers, contractors and internal stakeholders; coordinates day-to-day mechanical maintenance, preventive and corrective tasks; oversees spare parts usage and safety

Qualifications

• Must have BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 4–6 years experience in mechanical design, operation and maintenance.
• Proficiency with SAP and MAXIMO as monitoring and tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities.
• Support preventive, reactive and corrective maintenance planning.
• Monitor spare parts usage and ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Contribute to asset condition assessments and project commissioning.
• Support continuous service improvements for operational excellence.

The Mechanical Engineer supports the Senior MEP Engineer in managing the operation and maintenance of all Mechanical systems within the Primary Nursery Facility at NEOM The role focuses primarily on mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing hydraulics and vertical transportation systems ensuring their reliability safety and performance in alignment with project standards and operational goals Working closely with service providers contractors and internal stakeholders the Mechanical Engineer is responsible for coordinating and supervising day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities supporting preventive reactive and corrective maintenance planning monitoring spare parts usage and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality assurance measures The role also involves contributing to asset condition assessments project commissioning and continuous service improvements to maintain operational excellence across the facility.

RequirementsQualifications

• Must have BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Experience 4-6 years experience in mechanical design principles operation and maintenance of mechanical systems and conversant with relevant standards
• Good knowledge of SAP amp MAXIMO system as a monitoring amp tracking tool
