Job summary

The Electrical Engineer at NEOM supports the Senior MEP Engineer in maintaining MV/LV electrical systems across the Primary Nursery Facility, including substations, switchgear, generators, UPS, lighting, and related power infrastructure.

You will supervise maintenance activities, ensure safety and QA/QC, assist in planning, testing, commissioning, and coordinate with Low Current and Mechanical teams for reliable and energy-efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 4–6 years of experience in electrical design, operation and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV power distribution systems, substations, generators and lighting.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Experience supervising contractors or service providers.
• Familiarity with safety, HSE practices and QA/QC procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior MEP Engineer in maintaining MV/LV electrical systems.
• Oversee preventive, corrective and reactive maintenance activities.
• Supervise service providers to ensure safety and quality.
• Assist in maintenance planning, spare parts tracking and inventory.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover of electrical installations.
• Conduct inspections and QA/QC audits.
• Support design reviews, upgrades and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Promote electrical safety and participate in HSE actions.
