Job summary

BrightConnect in Jizan, Saudi Arabia is seeking a Mechanic Technician to diagnose and repair mechanical systems, perform routine maintenance, and ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently. The role requires hands-on work, reliable record-keeping, and clear communication with customers about repair needs.

The position offers full-time employment with 40 hours per week. Salary is $1200 per month, negotiable by experience, and location is Jizan with no housing provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of professional mechanic experience.
• Strong ability to diagnose issues accurately.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Physically capable to lift heavy objects and perform tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes and suspension components.
• Replace faulty or worn parts as needed.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes and filter replacements.
• Keep accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Communicate with customers regarding vehicle needs and explain repairs.

Job description

As a Mechanic Technician you will be responsible for troubleshooting repairing and maintaining various mechanical systems and equipment This includes conducting inspections diagnosing issues and performing necessary repairs to ensure that all equipment is running efficiently and safely

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems and equipment
• Diagnose issues using diagnostic tools and techniques
• Perform necessary repairs on mechanical components such as engines transmissions brakes and suspension systems
• Replace faulty or worn parts as needed
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes tire rotations and filter replacements
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
• Communicate with customers regarding their vehicles needs and provide clear explanations of recommended repairs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required vocational or technical training preferred
• Minimum of 3 years experience working as a mechanic in a professional setting
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to diagnose issues accurately
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Must be physically able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed

Salary $1200 per month negotiable based on experience
