Job summary

Jing Hau is seeking a Material Handling Specialist for a contract position in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. You will move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, load and unload trucks, and ensure proper storage and accurate inventory records.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience, a forklift certification is preferred, ability to lift 50 pounds, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Material Handler or similar role.
• Valid forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Basic math skills to accurately count and record inventory.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus).
• Must have own visa to work in Jeddah without accommodation provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks with materials.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure that all materials are stored in designated locations.
• Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages.
• Assist with packaging and labeling of materials for shipment.
• Keep work area clean and organized at all times.
• Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries.
