Job summary

Koch is seeking a Material & Warehouse Specialist in Dammam to ensure material planning, inventory control, and safe, efficient warehouse operations supporting project execution and operational excellence.

You will collaborate with engineering, planning, production, procurement, and warehouse teams to maintain material availability, interpret BOMs, and ensure ERP data integrity while pursuing continuous improvement and inventory optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Experience in material management and inventory control.
• Proficient reading BOMs and engineering drawings.
• Experience with ERP-based inventory transactions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure material availability aligns with project schedules and requirements.
• Manage material planning by reviewing project requirements, BOMs, drawings, and inventory levels.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, material master data, and ERP transaction integrity.
• Monitor material utilization, identify shortages, and drive actions to minimize risks and waste.
• Support efficient warehouse operations including receiving, storage, issuance, handling, and inventory control.
• Promote inventory accuracy via cycle counts, audits, and process improvements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve material flow and inventory visibility.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization and material preservation practices.
• Support safety culture through adherence to HSE requirements and safe handling.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and inventory optimization.

Your Job

As a Material & Warehouse Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring materials are planned, controlled, stored, and delivered efficiently to support project execution and operational excellence. You will work across material planning, inventory management, warehouse operations, and safety compliance to help maintain a reliable supply chain while driving inventory accuracy and effective utilization of resources.

Our Team

You will be part of a collaborative operations team that supports project execution through effective material management and warehouse operations. Working closely with engineering, planning, production, procurement, and warehouse colleagues, you will help ensure materials are available when needed while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

What You Will Do

• Ensure material availability aligns with project schedules and operational requirements.
• Manage material planning activities by reviewing project requirements, BOMs, drawings, and inventory levels.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, material master data, and transaction integrity within the ERP system.
• Monitor material utilization, identify shortages, and drive actions to minimize project risks and material waste.
• Support efficient warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, issuance, material handling, and inventory control.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in material management, inventory control, or warehouse operations.
• Experience using ERP systems for inventory management and material transactions.
• Ability to read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs), material take-offs, and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control processes, and material planning activities.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience within the Oil & Gas, EPC, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
• Knowledge of piping materials, fittings, flanges, valves, structural steel, and related industrial materials.
• Experience supporting project-based environments with material planning and project allocation activities.
• Familiarity with inventory optimization, warehouse layout improvements, and storage efficiency initiatives.
• Strong understanding of material traceability and preservation requirements.
• Experience participating in inventory audits, cycle counting programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
