Job description

About the Role

The Marketing Director is accountable for three core priorities: marketing Aramco Stadium's business lines, developing and building an integrated, best-in-class CRM function, and overseeing the stadium's communications and PR strategy. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the role sets the marketing strategy for ticketing, premium hospitality, private events, tours and attractions, supports partnership activation, turns customer data into measurable revenue growth, and develops, protects and enhances the stadium's tone of voice and brand reputation. The Director leads the marketing, CRM and communications teams and serves as the strategic advisor to executive leadership on marketing, customer and communications matters. Primary Outcome To drive measurable revenue and audience growth across every stadium business line through targeted, data-led marketing; to establish a fully integrated, best-in-class CRM ecosystem that increases customer retention and lifetime value; and to build Aramco Stadium's reputation as a trusted, world-class venue through proactive communications and PR, all delivered against agreed plans, budgets and performance targets.

Responsibilities
Business Line Marketing
  • Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy and annual plan for each stadium business line.
  • Define brand positioning and value propositions for each business line within a consistent Aramco Stadium master brand.
  • Lead multi-channel campaigns across digital, social, paid media, content, email and on-site channels that drive demand, customer acquisition and conversion.
  • Partner with Sales, Ticketing, Programming and Partnerships to align marketing activity with the event calendar, on-sales and commercial priorities.
  • Develop and oversee the digital approach covering the website and app, SEO/SEM, social media and content strategy to grow audience reach and engagement.
CRM Strategy and Integration
  • Set the vision and roadmap for an integrated, best-in-class CRM function that delivers a single customer view across all business lines.
  • Manage and support the integration of CRM with ticketing, marketing automation and data platforms, working with Ticketing Operations and IT to ensure data integrity.
  • Drive customer lifecycle programs, segmentation and personalization that grow retention, frequency of attendance and customer lifetime value.
  • Embed a test-and-learn culture and use customer data and insight to inform marketing, programming and commercial decisions.
  • Ensure customer data is managed in compliance with data protection regulations and organizational policies.
Communications and Public Relations
  • Set and oversee the stadium's communications and PR strategy, covering internal, external, corporate and stakeholder communications.
  • Direct media relations, press activity, executive messaging and thought leadership to build the stadium's profile locally, nationally and internationally.
  • Own reputation management and crisis communications planning, including event-day and incident protocols.
  • Coordinate communications with partners, promoters, sponsors and government stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging.
Team Leadership and Development
  • Lead, mentor and develop the marketing, CRM and communications teams, building capability across all three disciplines.
  • Manage external creative, media, CRM and PR agencies and hold them to agreed performance standards.
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration with Sales, Ticketing, Programming, Operations and the Executive Team.
Budget and Performance Management
  • Manage the marketing, CRM and communications budget and allocate resources by business line to maximize return.
  • Track and report on KPIs including revenue contribution by business line, ROI, CAC, retention, customer lifetime value, CRM engagement, share of voice and media sentiment.
  • Present performance insights to executive leadership and the board as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
Required Skills
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, CRM and communications leadership, ideally within sports, entertainment, live events or hospitality.
  • Proven track record of marketing multiple revenue streams and delivering measurable revenue and audience growth.
  • Demonstrable experience building or transforming an integrated CRM function, including platform implementation, data integration and lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience leading media relations, PR and crisis communications, and managing external agencies.
