Job summary

Jacobs is delivering engineering and construction supervision on a major port project in Dammam. The Site Inspector will focus on evaluating marine works such as dredging and quay structures, and ensure construction aligns with drawings and specifications.

You will report to the Site Engineer/Assistant Civil Designer and help identify defects, monitor safety, and verify contractor progress in accordance with contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Similar experience in site guidance for port, marine or infrastructure projects.
• Competence in monitoring construction activities and quality control.
• Knowledge of coastal works and marine infrastructure practices.

Responsibilities

• Daily evaluations of the works to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Respond to inspection alerts from professionals and supervisors.
• Monitor progress and quality of development works on site.
• Prepare comprehensive site inspection reports.
• Maintain a daily diary and record contractor progress and resources.
