Job summary

Manpower Resources India in Saudi Arabia seeks a Dy Manager (Mechanical) to lead maintenance for the Air Separation Unit (ASU) and ensure reliability, safety, and cost-effective operations.

Role covers design and execution of mechanical maintenance, commissioning, shutdowns, and continuous improvement across equipment like air compressors, cryogenic pumps, and heat exchangers, under the Maintenance Manager guidance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8–15 years of experience in mechanical maintenance for ASU.
• Experience with air separation units and cryogenic equipment preferred.
• Familiar with safety standards and PTW procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project & Construction Phase activities with project and maintenance teams for ASU construction.
• Assist mechanical erection, installation, commissioning, and startup of key equipment.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and reliability initiatives.
• Coordinate with EPC, vendors, and internal teams for timely execution.
• Participate in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Purpose of the Role

Purpose of the Role To support the execution of mechanical maintenance activities for the Air Separation Unit ASU at Duqm ensuring equipment reliability plant availability adherence to safety standards and cost-effective maintenance practices under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager

Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities KRA Project & Construction Phase Work closely with the project and maintenance teams during construction of the ASU plant Assist in mechanical erection and installation activities of key equipment including o Air compressors expanders and cryogenic pumps o Cold box systems piping and static equipment Support supervision of installation alignment and pre-commissioning checks Ensure compliance with engineering specifications quality standards and safety requirements Coordinate with EPC contractors vendors and internal teams for smooth execution and timely completion of mechanical works Commissioning & Startup Phase Participate in commissioning activities testing and plant startup Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues during initial operation Support performance testing and stabilization of the plant Operations & Maintenance Phase Execute mechanical maintenance activities as per planned schedules Support development and implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs Monitor equipment performance and report deviations to the Maintenance Manager Assist in root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities and adherence to safety procedures

3 Shutdown & Turnaround Management

Plan and execute annual shutdowns and major overhauls Coordinate with operations contractors and OEMs Ensure adherence to schedule cost safety and quality requirements

4 Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with o HSE standards and company safety policies o Cryogenic safety procedures o Permit-to-Work PTW system Drive a zero-incident safety culture

5 Budgeting & Cost Control

Prepare and manage maintenance budgets Optimize maintenance costs and spare part inventory Ensure availability of critical spares for uninterrupted operations

6 Continuous Improvement

Drive initiatives in o Reliability enhancement o Energy efficiency o Digital and predictive maintenance systems
