Job summary

Riyadh Air is seeking a seasoned designer to shape the future of travel. You will lead the Future Experience Design agenda and translate research, trends, and insights into compelling concepts and long-term roadmaps guiding strategic investments.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will run workshops and co-creation sessions, translating outcomes into stories, visuals, prototypes, and journey maps that bring future ideas to life for millions of guests worldwide.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified with a minimum of 7 in innovation design, service design, product design, UX/UI, design strategy, or a similar field.
• Expertise in design thinking, service design, ethnographic research, horizon scanning, trend analysis, systems thinking, or strategic foresight.

Responsibilities

• Lead Riyadh Air's Future Experience Design agenda, exploring how technology, culture, guest behaviours, and industry shifts influence travel.
• Transform research, trends, customer insights, and innovation opportunities into compelling concepts, future experience visions, and strategic recommendations.
• Lead creative workshops, ideation sessions, and co-creation sprints with stakeholders across the organization.
• Build compelling stories, visual concepts, prototypes, journey maps, simulations, and concept films that bring future ideas to life.
• Present ideas and future scenarios to senior leaders to guide strategic investment decisions.

You'll lead Riyadh Air's Future Experience Design agenda, exploring how technology, culture, guest behaviours, and industry shifts will influence travel in the years ahead.

Working closely with teams across the business, you'll transform research, trends, customer insights, and innovation opportunities into compelling concepts, future experience visions, and strategic recommendations that shape our long-term roadmap.

Importantly, you will work onconcepts, scenarios, and innovation strategies by leading creative workshops, ideation sessions, and co-creation sprints with stakeholders accross the organization.

Central to the success of this role, you'll build compelling stories, visual concepts, prototypes, journey maps, simulations, and concept films that bring future ideas to life. Additionally, test and refine concepts with guests, stakeholders, startups, research partners, and technology providers.

Working closely with stakeholders , you will present ideas and future scenarios to senior leaders, helping guide strategic investment decisions. Build strong partnerships across the innovation ecosystem and stay connected to emerging technologies and research.

About You

Degree qualified, you will demonstrate a minimum of 7 in innovation design, service design, product design, UX/UI, design strategy, or a similar field.

You will be expected to have expertise in areas such as design thinking, service design, ethnographic research, horizon scanning, trend analysis, systems thinking, or strategic foresight.
