Job summary

Riyadh Air seeks a seasoned EFB Operations Leader to manage the Electronic Flight Bag environment across portable and installed platforms. About the Role

Are you ready to lead the Electronic Flight Bag environment that keeps flight operations connected, controlled, and ready to perform? This role is central to managing our Electronic Flight Bag system across both portable and installed platforms. It ensures the right hardware, software, and data are in place to support safe, reliable, and efficient flight operations. A core part of the role is leading the EFB administration team and overseeing the full lifecycle of EFB applications. That includes testing, version control, deployment planning, release readiness, and user communications. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors, the position supports application performance, feature development, issue resolution, and new hardware or software launches. The role also provides end-user support and prepares training materials and briefings that help teams use EFB tools effectively. With responsibility for configuration control, this position ensures approved software standards are maintained and unauthorized installations are prevented. It also monitors system integrity, manages technical issues, and protects the quality of data packages used across installed applications. In addition, the role assesses the overall EFB program, identifies operational risks, and shapes mitigation strategies for senior leadership. Budget oversight and cost control for hardware ordering and system integration are also an important part of the remit. This is a high-impact leadership role where your technical judgment and operational focus will shape the future of digital flight operations.

About You

Master’s qualified or equivalent, you will demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in an airline flight operations environment in a similar role. Your background includes strong expertise in ground and aircraft Electronic Flight Bag systems, along with hands-on experience with Apple Business Manager and Mobile Device Management for iOS and Windows devices. You will bring strong knowledge of Jeppesen CDAD, CAT, and DDM, Boeing EFB Doc Browser, NavBlue FlySmart+ suite, Airbus LPCNG, LSBM, GAS, and ROE, supported by analytical thinking, project management capability, attention to detail, and confident stakeholder communication.
