Job description

About the Company

Riyadh Air (RX), headquartered in the Saudi Capital, is the new national airline that’s shaping the future of flying. It seeks to lead the aviation industry by transforming Saudi Arabia into a global aviation and trade hub – a digitally native airline that will connect the kingdom to more than 100 destinations.

About the Role

Can you lead a 24/7 Crew Operations function that keeps the schedule intact no matter the disruption?

We are seeking a professional to lead all Crew Control and Crew Operations Centre activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational resilience and effective disruption management.

This role safeguards the integrity of the flight schedule through data‑driven decision making, strong operational leadership and close cross‑functional collaboration.

You will direct real‑time responses to IROPS, crew shortages and operational disruptions, approve critical deployment decisions, and ensure seamless shift continuity across controllers, crew operations officers and duty managers.

You will oversee monthly rosters for Flight and Cabin Crew, ensuring legality, fairness and resilience while optimising reserve and standby coverage to protect daily readiness.

Through proactive forecasting, fatigue and qualification monitoring, and robust FRMS oversight, you will maintain compliance with General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) requirements and company policies.

You will lead scenario modelling and proactive disruption planning, drive continuous improvement initiatives, standardise operational governance and documentation, and ensure audit readiness at all times.

In parallel, you will manage crew‑related costs, including utilisation, reserve efficiency, hotels and logistics, aligning operational performance with budget discipline.

This is a leadership role for someone who combines operational control expertise, regulatory depth and strategic workforce oversight to deliver safe, reliable and resilient operations.

Lead the operation behind the operation so every departure is backed by confidence, compliance and control.

About You

Degree qualified, you will demonstrate a minimum of 7 years of progressive aviation operations experience, ideally in Crew Control, Crew Planning or Rostering.

You are expected to have a strong understanding of FTL, FRMS, legality standards, and regulatory governance within airline operations.

We’d love to hear from you even more if you have experience in a demonstrated leadership role in a 24/7 real‑time operational environment.

This is your opportunity to shape the future of air travel. Bring your best and show us why you can own this position within Riyadh Air.
