Qiddiya is seeking an experienced senior accounting leader to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls across the organization. You will oversee the general ledger, month-end close, and reporting processes while ensuring IFRS compliance and effective governance.

You will coordinate with internal stakeholders on budgeting, provide financial guidance, and manage relationships with external auditors and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, finance operations, or related disciplines.
• CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, SOCPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Oversee general ledger activities, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and processing.
• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end closing activities and ensure reporting timelines.
• Review and approve reconciliations, schedules, and accounting records.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and analyses per standards.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and internal control frameworks.
• Monitor AP, AR, fixed assets, and other accounting functions for accuracy.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support budgeting and financial guidance.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, and other authorities on accounting matters.
• Support audits and regulatory reporting; ensure availability of documentation.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities in accounting operations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team with a culture of accountability.

Manage accounting operations and financial reporting activities to ensure accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial controls across the organization.

Oversee the preparation, reconciliation, and review of financial transactions, statements, and reports while supporting business decision-making through timely and reliable financial information.

Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes, governance, and compliance to support organizational objectives and financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial transaction processing.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities and ensure adherence to reporting timelines.
• Review and approve financial reconciliations, supporting schedules, and accounting records.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and accounting analyses in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and other accounting functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues, support budgeting activities, and provide financial guidance.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, regulatory authorities, and other external stakeholders on accounting matters.
• Support internal and external audit activities by ensuring the availability and accuracy of financial documentation.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, system enhancements, and automation initiatives to improve accounting operations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
