Lead and oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance activities to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial information across the organization.

Provide strategic and operational leadership for accounting functions, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, governance requirements, and internal controls while supporting business and financial objectives.

Drive financial excellence through effective team leadership, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Section III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting function and oversee all financial accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards and policies.
• Manage general ledger operations, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial close activities.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes and ensure timely submission of financial reports.
• Review and approve financial statements, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, corporate governance requirements, regulatory obligations, and internal control frameworks.
• Monitor and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and other accounting processes.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support to finance teams and business stakeholders.
• Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements, regulatory filings, and audit requirements.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and financial analysis activities in collaboration with finance leadership.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and operational efficiency improvements across accounting functions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting teams while fostering a high-performance and compliance-focused culture.

Minimum Qualifications
