Job summary

Napco National in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, seeks a skilled maintenance technician to repair and maintain mechanical equipment, inspect systems, and troubleshoot issues in accordance with diagrams and manuals.

You will perform calendar-based calibration, log daily activities, and ensure 5S and safety practices are followed across the plant. The role may involve assisting junior technicians and contributing to continuous maintenance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Repairs & maintains machinery and mechanical equipment per diagrams, manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
• Inspects and troubleshoots problems.
• Dismantles devices to repair defective parts.
• Reports work done, remarks, and parts used on repair request forms.
• Checks bearing condition and wear and tear.
• Replaces faulty mechanical components using proper tools.
• Performs routine maintenance programs with appropriate tools and references.
• Carries out calibration according to schedule.
• Logs daily activities.
• Upholds 5S culture and safety requirements in the plant.
• Prepares and issues spare parts vouchers as needed.
• Initiates modifications or replacements to meet operating standards.
• Directs, assists, and trains new or lower-level technicians.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Maintenance Repair Work

• Repairs & maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals & manufacturer’s specifications machineries & other mechanical equipment.
• Inspects & troubleshoots the problem.
• Dismantles devices to repair defective parts.
• Reports work done, remarks & parts used on the repair request form.
• Checks the bearing condition & other wear & tear.
• Replaces faulty Mechanical components of machines & equipment, such as bearing, chains, belts, pneumatic & Hydraulic Components, using proper equipment & hand tools.
• Performs & implements routine maintenance programs using appropriate tools & all related references.
• Carry out the calibration based on the calibration schedule.
• Logging the daily activities.

• Carry out, implement and maintain the 5S culture.
• Ensures that health & safety requirements are implemented throughout the plant; that employee health is adequately safeguarded from industrial hazards.

Authorities

• Prepares & issues a needed spare parts voucher.
• Initiates & recommends modification or replacement of components & equipment which fail to meet acceptable operating standards.
• May direct, assist & train new or lower level technicians.
