Job summary

Petro Rabigh is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join the MFT - Maintenance department within a refinery and petrochemical environment.

You will prepare work schedules, lead complex project proposals, supervise execution, and coach junior engineers to ensure high performance and adherence to standards. A Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years in refinery/petrochemical settings are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in refinery or petrochemical industry preferred.
• Knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles; calculation methods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a schedule of work and provide direction for the preparation of designs, processes and data for complex engineering problems to meet deadlines and standards.
• Lead proposal development for highly complex engineering projects, including scope, interrelationship, solution definition and cost estimates.
• Supervise project execution to ensure implementation as per plan.
• Recommend refinery and petrochemical installations or modifications to improve facilities and standardization.
• Review and consolidate reports on engineering studies to support management decisions.
• Provide coaching to lower-level engineers and supervise their work to transfer skills.
• Perform other duties as designated by the Sr. Supervisor Engineering and Planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare a schedule of work and provide direction for the preparation of designs, processes and related data for very complex engineering problems to ensure that work is completed as per deadline and engineering standards.
• Lead proposal development for highly complex engineering projects, including scope definition, interrelationship, physical solution definition and cost estimate.
• Supervise project execution to ensure that project is implemented as per plan.
• Recommend new refinery and petrochemical installations or modifications to improve existing facilities and standardization.
• Review and consolidate reports on engineering studies to support Management decision-making.
• Provide coaching to lower-level engineers and supervise their work to ensure proper transfer of skills is taking place to enhance work performance as per standards.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as designated by the Sr. Supervisor Engineering and Planning.

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years' experience preferably in the refinery or petrochemical industry.

Education Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering discipline.
