Leadership & People Management
- Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to all production floor personnel.
- Communicate job expectations, production priorities, and performance standards.
- Coach, mentor, and develop employees to improve performance and productivity.
- Address employee concerns and resolve workplace conflicts professionally.
- Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment.
- Conduct regular production meetings with shop personnel.
Production & Operations Management
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily machine shop operations.
- Assign work and allocate resources to maximize productivity.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time completion of work.
- Maintain efficient material flow throughout the facility.
- Ensure workstations are adequately supplied with materials and tools.
- Monitor employee productivity and workflow efficiency.
- Oversee shipping and receiving activities related to shop operations.
- Monitor attendance, work hours, breaks, and shift schedules.
- Ensure all products meet company and customer quality requirements.
- Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable quality management systems and procedures.
- Communicate to customers for the collection of Jobs
- Ensure machinery, equipment, and tools are maintained in good working condition.
- Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Monitor housekeeping standards throughout the production floor and warehouse.
- Optimize shop layout and workflow to improve efficiency and throughput.
- Ensure employees possess the skills and certifications required to perform their duties safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate production and operational records.
- Support audits and regulatory inspections.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.

Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred
Experience
- Minimum 7-10 years of machine shop or manufacturing experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Experience in CNC machining, threading, oilfield equipment, or Premium license experience is preferred.
