Job summary

Nabors Industries in Dammam seeks an experienced Production & Operations Manager to lead a high‑performing machine shop. You will plan, supervise, and optimize daily operations to meet production schedules while upholding safety, quality, and cost targets.

The role requires strong leadership with hands-on CNC/machining experience, a solid background in manufacturing processes, and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement across teams and systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily machine shop operations.
• Allocate resources to maximize productivity and ensure on-time completion of work.
• Monitor production schedules and maintain efficient material flow.
• Ensure products meet quality requirements and comply with procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance and housekeeping to minimize downtime and safety risks.
• Support audits and regulatory inspections and maintain production records.

• Monitor housekeeping standards throughout the production floor and warehouse.
• Optimize shop layout and workflow to improve efficiency and throughput.
• Ensure employees possess the skills and certifications required to perform their duties safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate production and operational records.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 7-10 years of machine shop or manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience in CNC machining, threading, oilfield equipment, or Premium license experience is preferred.
