Role Summary

The Loss Prevention Specialist is responsible for protecting company assets and minimizing shrinkage by operating and monitoring CCTV systems, identifying and investigating suspicious activity, supporting security risk assessments, and ensuring consistent compliance with loss prevention procedures. The role works closely with Store Management and Operations to reduce losses caused by theft, fraud, process gaps, and operational errors while maintaining a safe and welcoming customer environment.

Key Responsibilities

CCTV Monitoring & Systems Support

• Operate, monitor, and maintain effective daily use of CCTV systems and surveillance tools.
• Identify suspicious behavior and high‑risk situations through real‑time monitoring and recorded footage review.
• Ensure recording quality, coverage effectiveness, and proper storage/archiving of video evidence.
• Report CCTV issues or coverage gaps and coordinate with relevant teams for corrective actions.

Loss Prevention & Shrink Control

• Implement and enforce loss prevention practices to reduce theft and shrinkage across the store and back‑of‑house areas.
• Monitor high‑risk zones (entrances/exits, cash handling, fitting rooms, stock rooms, receiving areas) to prevent losses.
• Support cycle counts and stocktakes; help analyze variances and recommend preventive solutions.
• Verify adherence to receiving, storage, returns, and inventory movement controls.

Risk Assessment & Security Analytics

• Participate in security risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities and root causes (e.g., blind spots, procedural gaps, access control issues).
• Analyze incident patterns and shrink data to propose targeted countermeasures and process improvements.
• Recommend practical improvements to layouts, camera positioning, access restrictions, and preventive controls.

Incident Handling, Documentation & Reporting

• Respond professionally to loss prevention incidents (theft, attempted theft, fraud, vandalism, policy breaches) according to company procedures.
• Prepare accurate, timely incident reports with supporting evidence and clear recommendations.
• Preserve evidence appropriately and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Coordinate with Store Management and relevant internal stakeholders; liaise with authorities when required and in line with company policy and local regulations.

Awareness, Training & Compliance

• Support awareness activities to promote a “prevention‑first” culture among store teams.
• Provide guidance to employees on loss prevention procedures, safe practices, and correct escalation steps.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with company policies, SOPs, and security standards without compromising customer service.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma (minimum).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with CCTV systems and surveillance operations.
• Retail Experience: Prior experience in retail loss prevention is required or strongly preferred.

Preferred Training / Certifications

• Training course in Security Risk Analysis / Security Risk Assessment.
• Training course in Loss Prevention, Theft & Shrinkage Prevention.
• Any additional certifications in security, investigations, risk management, or safety are an advantage.

يهدف أخصائي منع الخسائر إلى حماية أصول الشركة وتقليل الفاقد (Shrinkage) داخل المتجر/المستودع من خلال المراقبة الفعّالة، تشغيل وإدارة أنظمة كاميرات المراقبة (CCTV)، تحليل الأنماط والسلوكيات عالية الخطورة، تنفيذ برامج منع السرقات والاحتيال، ودعم فرق التشغيل في تطبيق الضوابط الأمنية وإجراءات السلامة بما يضمن بيئة تسوق آمنة وتجربة عميل إيجابية.

المهام الرئيسية

مراقبة وتشغيل CCTV

• تشغيل ومتابعة أنظمة كاميرات المراقبة (CCTV) وغرف التحكم، وضمان جاهزية النظام وجودة التسجيلات.
• مراقبة المناطق الحساسة (مخارج/مداخل، غرف القياس، المخازن، الكاشير، مناطق الاستلام) ورصد السلوكيات المشبوهة.
• حفظ الأدلة المرئية بطريقة صحيحة وفق السياسات المعتمدة (Chain of Custody) لدعم التحقيقات الداخلية والجهات ذات العلاقة عند الحاجة.

المنع والتحكم في الفاقد

• تنفيذ إجراءات وبرامج منع الخسائر والسرقات داخل المتجر، وتقليل الفاقد الناتج عن السرقة، الأخطاء التشغيلية، أو سوء التداول.
• المشاركة في الجرد الدوري/المفاجئ، وتحليل الفروقات وتحديد الأسباب الجذرية (Root Cause Analysis) بالتعاون مع الإدارة التشغيلية.
• مراقبة الالتزام بإجراءات الاستلام، التخزين، المناولة، وإرجاع البضائع، والتحقق من تطبيق ضوابط التحكم (Access Control) للمناطق المقيدة.

التقييم المخاطري والتحليل الأمنيّ

• إجراء/دعم تقييم مخاطر أمنية للموقع (Security Risk Assessment) وتحديد نقاط الضعف ووضع إجراءات تصحيحية قابلة للتطبيق.
• تحليل البيانات والتقارير (حوادث، فاقد، أنماط سرقات) واستخراج مؤشرات تساعد على الوقاية الاستباقية.
• تقديم توصيات لتحسين تصميم الضوابط (مثل توزيع الكاميرات، مناطق العمى، بوابات إنذار، أساليب عرض المنتجات عالية القيمة).

إدارة الحوادث والتقارير

• التعامل مع الحوادث الأمنية (سرقة، شبهة احتيال، تخريب، مخالفات سلامة) وفق الإجراءات المعتمدة وباحترافية عالية.
• إعداد تقارير دقيقة ومهنية عن الحوادث والنتائج والإجراءات المتخذة، مع رفعها للجهات المعنية ضمن إطار زمني محدد.
• التنسيق مع إدارة المتجر/الأمن/الجهات ذات العلاقة عند الضرورة، بما يتوافق مع سياسات الشركة وأنظمة المملكة.

التدريب والامتثال والدعم

• الموعية الموظفين بإجراءات منع الخسائر، وممارسات السلامة، وكيفية التصرف عند الاشتباه بحادث.
• دعم التزام الفريق بسياسات الشركة وإجراءاتها (SOPs) الخاصة بالأمن والسلامة والتحكم في المخزون.
• المساهمة في بناء ثقافة “الوقاية أولاً” دون التأثير على خدمة العملاء أو تجربة التسوق.

المؤهلات المطلوبة

• المؤهل: شهادة ثانوية كحد أدنى (ويُفضل دبلوم/بكالوريوس في إدارة الأعمال، الأمن والسلامة، أو تخصص ذي صلة).
• الخبرة: خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين في أنظمة الكاميرات والمراقبة (CCTV) ويفضل ضمن بيئة تجزئة.
• خبرة سابقة في منع الخسائر في قطاع التجزئة (Retail) تُعد ميزة قوية.

الشهادات والتدريب (المفضلة / المطلوبة حسب سياسة الشركة)

• دورة/تدريب في تحليل المخاطر الأمنية.
• دورة/تدريب في مكافحة منع الخسائر والسرقات (Loss Prevention & Anti-Theft).
• أي شهادات مرتبطة بالأمن والسلامة أو التحقيقات أو إدارة المخاطر تُعد إضافة.

• فهم عملي لأنظمة CCTV ومبادئ تشغيلها وأساسيات الأعطال الشائعة.
