Salla, a leading e-commerce platform in the MENA region, is expanding its Finance team with an Accountant – Logistics. You will handle revenue and cost accounting, vendor invoice reconciliation, and financial controls across logistics operations.

The role requires IFRS knowledge, strong Excel skills, and the ability to analyze high-volume data. Minimum 3 years in accounting/finance within logistics or e-commerce, with experience in month-end close and financial reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in logistics, shipping, or e-commerce.
• Hands-on experience with revenue and cost accounting, vendor invoice reconciliation, COGS, and financial reconciliations.
• Experience supporting month-end closing, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Working knowledge of IFRS, including revenue recognition, accruals, and deferred revenue.
• Understanding of shipping and logistics transactions, including AWBs, shipping rates, vendor billing, and shipping margin analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify financial discrepancies, revenue leakage, and incorrect charges.
• High attention to detail and ability to work accurately with high-volume transactional data.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing processes, priorities, and workflows in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional proficiency in Arabic and English.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, or similar data-analysis tools is a plus.

Aufgaben

• 1 Revenue Management: Accurately calculate logistics-related revenues and track financial performance metrics. Reconcile revenues against invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• 2 Cost Management: Reconcile vendor invoices against internal records, process COGS and direct shipping cost entries, ensure timely payments.
• 3 Reporting & Financial Reconciliation: Prepare reconciliations for logistics transactions and generate reports on billing, margins, and revenue analysis.
• 4 Process Optimization & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Improve shipping and logistics accounting workflows and collaborate with Operations, Product, and Account Management.
