Job summary

The Chedi Hegra is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of guests at our pool and aquatic facilities. Onsite role focused on safety, service excellence, and memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities include monitoring water areas, responding to emergencies with CPR/First Aid, enforcing rules, and educating guests on water safety, with daily safety checks and reporting incidents to management.

Qualifications

• Lifeguard certification from a recognized authority is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification are required.
• Strong swimming ability and fitness are essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and staying alert for extended periods.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Calm, swift action during emergencies is mandatory.

Join our team at The Chedi Hegra as a lifeguard, where you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well‑being of our guests at our pool and aquatic facilities. As part of our team in The Chedi Hegra, you'll work in an ONSITE environment focused on safety, service excellence, and providing memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Monitor swimming pools and aquatic areas to prevent accidents and ensure guest safety.
• Respond quickly and efficiently to emergencies, performing lifesaving procedures such as CPR and first aid when necessary.
• Enforce pool rules and facility guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
• Conduct daily safety checks of pool areas, equipment, and water quality.
• Educate guests on water safety and provide courteous, professional assistance.
• Report and document incidents or accidents promptly to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of pool surroundings and facilities.

Must have requirements

• Valid lifeguard certification from a recognized authority.
• Current certification in CPR and first aid.
• Strong swimming ability and physical fitness.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain alert for extended periods.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and act swiftly during emergencies.

Nice to have requirements

• Previous experience as a lifeguard in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.
• Basic knowledge of pool chemistry and maintenance.
• Saudi National is preferred
