Job summary

PrimeEstate is seeking a qualified Librarian for our Medina, Saudi Arabia location. You will manage the library's collection, assist patrons with research, and help develop programs and services to serve the community.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Library Science, 2+ years in a library setting, and strong English communication. Arabic is a plus. Visa required; work on-site in Medina at our state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of library experience.
• Strong knowledge of cataloguing systems and information retrieval tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic a plus).

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the library's collection of books and media.
• Catalogue new materials using classification systems (e.g., Dewey Decimal).
• Assist patrons with research and reference inquiries via databases, online resources, and print materials.
• Develop and implement library programs and services for the community.
• Plan workshops to promote information literacy.
• Collaborate with librarians to acquire materials.
• Keep accurate records of library usage and prepare reports.
