Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Principal Quantity Surveyor to lead quantity surveying across Architecture, Civil, Structural and MEP projects. You will oversee cost estimation, budgeting, and contractual compliance for buildings and infrastructure, with responsibility for take-offs, cost reporting, and value engineering.

You will manage detailed cost estimates, negotiate change orders, review invoices, and mentor a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 10 years of post-graduate Quantity Surveying experience in buildings/infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
• Proven track record in cost estimation, budget control, and contract compliance (FIDIC or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead quantity surveying activities across Architecture/Civil/Structural/MEP projects.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs from design/shop drawings.
• Prepare cost estimates and variation assessments; manage change orders.
• Review contractor invoices and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate cost data with project controls and schedules; provide cost engineering advice.
