Job summary

Cognizant Consulting in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Lead Quality Engineer with 12 to 15 years of experience to drive advanced quality practices in an office-based, day-shift role with no travel.

You will focus on test automation and intelligent validation using AI code assist tools, context engineering, Java, Selenium, RestAssured, Cucumber and TestNG to ensure resilient delivery of enterprise software that supports robust business operations and reliable customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and maintaining Java-based automation frameworks.
• Hands-on with AI code assist tools to generate and validate test code.

Responsibilities

• Telecom Domain is mandatory
• Design and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, RestAssured, Cucumber and TestNG.
• Coordinate end-to-end functional, integration and regression testing cycles with clear release readiness reporting
• Apply AI code assist tools to accelerate test script development and improve maintainability
• Use context engineering to mirror real-world data flows and user scenarios in tests
• Develop API validation suites using RestAssured and ensure security and performance of services
• Implement behavior-driven testing with clear, business-aligned Cucumber scenarios
• Optimize TestNG configurations for scalable, parallel test execution
• Improve automation stability by refining object identification and test data strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify acceptance criteria and strengthen coverage
• Provide defect analysis insights for systemic quality improvements
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to enforce quality gates
• Support reliable digital experiences by reducing production incidents and enabling fast feedback
• Mentor team members in modern quality engineering techniques and coding practices
