Job summary

Confidential in Construction Company is seeking a senior procurement professional to lead the procurement of civil and architectural materials, equipment, and subcontract packages for large-scale projects in Saudi Arabia. You will ensure timely delivery and cost optimization while aligning purchases with technical specs.

You will negotiate with suppliers, prepare RFQs, evaluate bids, and manage vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• 10–15 years of procurement experience in large-scale construction.
• Strong knowledge of civil/architectural materials and contract administration.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
• Proficiency with SAP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement for civil materials, equipment, and subcontract packages.

Ensure timely procurement, cost optimization, compliance with project specifications, and coordination with engineering, commercial, and project teams to support project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead procurement activities for civil and architectural materials, equipment, and subcontract works.
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate technical and commercial bids, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure procurement aligns with project specifications and schedules.
• Source and prequalify vendors while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Monitor procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Review purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation for compliance.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, project requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Track procurement progress, resolve supply issues, and provide regular procurement status reports.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support value engineering initiatives.

Requirements:
