Job summary

KFSHRC in Riyadh seeks a Senior Medical Technologist to lead a specialized laboratory subsection, organize workflow, assign staff for peak efficiency, and ensure that all tests are reported promptly.

You will maintain the Laboratory Information System, manage supplies, develop methods, uphold QA programs, supervise performance, train personnel, and ensure compliance with CBAHI, JCI, CAP, SFDA standards.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Sciences required.
• Grade 09: 2 years of related experience; Grade 10: 4 years as Senior Medical Technologist or related.
• Average annual performance appraisal of at least 3.5 for the last four years.
• 100 hours CME required.

Responsibilities

• Organizes workflow and day-to-day operations of the subsection; assigns staff for efficiency.
• Maintains the Laboratory Information System for the subsection.
• Ensures optimal supplies; manages ordering and inventory.
• Assists in developing new methodologies and evaluating equipment; updates policies.
• Performs analyses, tests, and procedures; maintains quality control; participates in QA programs.
• Maintains equipment repair logs and operation/maintenance records for the subsection.
• Assists supervisor in ongoing performance appraisals; counsels staff.
• Orients, trains, and guides personnel; assists in candidate evaluation; enforces safety procedures.
• Performs technical duties including weekends, night shifts, and on-call coverage.
• Complies with section policies and accreditation standards (CBAHI, JCI, CAP, SFDA).
