Requirements include a Bachelor degree in Medical Technology/Science or a Certified Medical Engineer with current licensure status, and a minimum of 3 years post-licensure experience in a study facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Medical Technology/Science or certified Medical Engineer.
• 3+ years post-licensure experience in a study facility.
• Experience supporting lab operations and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor, Lab in organizing staff and improving efficiency.
• Assist primary investigator with data collection and analysis for study purposes.
• Ensure materials and reagents are available and used per research criteria.
• Assist Lab Manager in generating, maintaining and upgrading SOPs of the area.
• Assist Manager, Lab in creating and updating SOPs of the section.
• Oversee Lab Technologists II and other technicians in the assigned lab.
• Monitor reagents, equipment and preventive maintenance; troubleshoot instrument malfunctions.
