ABIS is seeking an experienced Senior QA/QC Inspector/Engineer specializing in mechanical work with shutdown and turnaround experience. The role focuses on ensuring quality assurance and control during mechanical projects within the oil and gas industry, conducting inspections and coordinating with project teams to meet standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years of QA/QC inspection or mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience in shutdowns and turnarounds in oil and gas.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical codes, standards and inspection techniques.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior inspectors or engineers.

Responsabilités

• Conduct detailed inspections of mechanical equipment and systems during shutdowns and turnarounds.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and safety standards.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Prepare inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and documentations as required.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
• Support project management to ensure timely completion of shutdown and turnaround activities.
