Job summary

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Logistics Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. In this role you will provide expertise in logistics strategy, network design, and operational planning as part of large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with impact on performance, cost, and service delivery.

You will develop recommendations based on modeling and analysis and interface with leadership, while evaluating and improving cost structures and service levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' experience with at least 3 years on large city-scale projects.
• Expert knowledge of supply chain strategy, network modeling, and logistics optimization.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in logistics strategy, network design, and operational planning.
• Assist with large-scale, cross-functional initiatives that impact supply chain performance, cost structure, and service delivery.
• Develop recommendations based on modeling and analysis, and interfaces with leadership.
• Evaluates and improves supply chain cost structures and service levels.
• Maintains policies, standards, and best practices.
• Assess logistics and supply chain risks (e.g., vendor performance, single points of failure, transportation disruption)
