Key Accountabilities:
- Design, manage, and coordinate drilling programs for Exploration, across multiple assets, adhering to safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Develop drilling strategies, plans, and budgets in collaboration with the Director Exploration and other stakeholders, emphasizing the identification and delineation of new mineral resources near existing mine sites.
- Coordinate and supervise drilling activities, including contract management, equipment selection, and resource allocation, to ensure effective and efficient exploration outcomes.
- Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and other stakeholders to design drilling programs that align with project objectives, geological targets, and exploration priorities.
- Ensure high-quality data collection, analysis, and interpretation to identify potential mineral deposits.
- Interpret drilling results and provide geological insights and recommendations to support resource estimation, optimization, and development planning decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of exploration activities, geological data, and project progress. Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry advancements, new drilling technologies, and best practices, and apply them to improve drilling operations, exploration techniques, and resource development strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and support to exploration teams.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:

Bachelor's Degree in Geology or related field
Minimum Experience:
7-12 years mining industry experience within Gold and/or Base Metals Exploration.
