Job summary

Ma'aden Gold and Base Metals (MGBM) seeks a Lead Specialist, Data Lakehouse II to drive scalable lakehouse architectures that empower analytics, AI, and digital transformation across the enterprise.

You will architect data platforms, govern data assets, and lead collaboration with business and technology teams to deliver secure, high-performing data solutions that enable strategic decisions in Riyadh and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/related field.
• 8–12 years of relevant data engineering/ lakehouse experience.
• Experience delivering enterprise analytics, data integration, and AI-enabled platforms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver scalable lakehouse architecture solutions for analytics, AI, and ML initiatives.
• Translate business and platform requirements into sustainable data engineering and architecture solutions.
• Align data platform capabilities with organizational digital transformation and technology strategies.
• Optimize data ingestion, processing, storage, and transformation capabilities.
• Strengthen platform reliability, availability, and scalability for uninterrupted data access.
• Improve data lifecycle management practices and operational efficiencies across the data ecosystem.
• Enable trusted, governed data environments through data quality, lineage, security, and compliance controls.
• Strengthen data governance frameworks and architecture principles.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies and security requirements.
• Drive the adoption of modern data technologies, engineering practices, and architectural standards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to improve platform value and scalability.
• Accelerate deployment of advanced analytics and AI solutions through robust data platforms.
• Build partnerships with business, analytics, architecture, cybersecurity, and technology teams.
• Provide technical guidance on data platform strategy and implementation.
• Mentor and share knowledge to raise organizational capability.
