Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Substation Automation Engineer with Cyber Security specialization to drive cyber security design, configuration, and assurance for substation automation projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of OT security and substation automation experience
• Experience with OT security designs, architectures and network topology
• Ability to prepare design documents and FAT/SAT
• Fluent English speaking and writing

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate EHS compliance and ensure Zero Deviation Plan is followed
• Lead design activities and MD control during ITO/OTR stages
• Develop Functional Design Spec (FDS) for cyber security systems
• Configure cyber security devices (switches, firewalls, servers)
• Prepare production documentation for panels integration
• Support FAT/SAT and customer validation
• Engage with tendering and execution teams to propose cyber security solutions
