Inspects,troubleshoots, repairs, modifies and installs avionic sensor systems equipment;and supervises avionic sensor systems activities at the Intermediate Level ofmaintenance.

Troubleshoots,diagnoses, repairs and maintains LANTIRN Targeting & Navigation pods andrelated support equipment

Preparedocumentation needed to RTS pods as well as order parts and equipment.

Work with RSAF toprovide hands on training as well as act as functional / principal techniciansfor LANTIRN CMF

Additional dutiesassociated with upkeep and functionality of LANTIRN CMF.

Must be flexiblein working with RSAF as RSAF may assign/request additional technical servicesabove and beyond that of a normal LANTIRN / SNIPER Technician.

Must be able torepresent the highest quality of standards thru work performance and conduct

Train RSAF to the5 and 7 skill levels.

Requirements

Provenability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain LANTIRN / SNIPERTargeting & Navigation pods as well as Support Equipment.

Proficientin the use of Technical Orders. Ability to Interpret schematics and processdiagrams.

Familiarwith basic LANTIRN/ SNIPER shop practices and additional duties.

Abilityto effectively communicate ideas and processes.

Abilityto work alone with initiative, as well as work in concert with othertechnicians an absolute must.
