Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not essential
• Experience in land surveying desirable but not required
• Knowledge of local surveying regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mind
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Carry out surveys on land/property using instruments such as theodolites, EDMs or GPS
• Prepare accurate maps and plans based on survey findings
• Analyse collected data to determine measurement accuracy and integrity
• Calculate areas, volumes, angles and other survey parameters
• Ensure that all measurements are recorded correctly
• Liaise with clients throughout the surveying process to ensure their requirements are met
