As an L3 Systems Engineer, you will operate within a senior technical team responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting highly available systems and network platforms. You will work on advanced technologies including F5 Load Balancers, Infoblox DNS/DHCP, VMware virtualization, and Linux‑based systems in a demanding enterprise environment. The role requires deep troubleshooting expertise, proactive system maintenance, and close collaboration with network and infrastructure teams. You will also play a key role in documentation, change planning, and system improvement initiatives that directly impact business continuity and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise solutions using F5 LTM/GTM, Infoblox DNS/DHCP, and VMware ESXi/vCenter.
- Lead advanced troubleshooting for complex system and network issues, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime.
- Configure, manage, and support routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VLAN, VRRP, and HSRP.
- Perform regular system maintenance, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning for Linux and VMware environments.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate closely with network, security, and operations teams to support daily operations and project delivery.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Extensive hands‑on experience with F5 Load Balancers (LTM/GTM) configuration and troubleshooting.
- Proven expertise in Infoblox DNS/DHCP administration within enterprise environments.
- Strong Linux system administration skills (CentOS / RedHat).
- Solid experience managing VMware ESXi and vCenter infrastructure.
- In‑depth knowledge of networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VLANs, VRRP, and HSRP.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with experience in large‑scale systems.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience supporting high‑availability or carrier‑grade environments.
- Exposure to automation or scripting (Bash, Python, or similar).
