Job summary

Franklin Templeton in Saudi Arabia seeks a Compliance Officer to ensure the KSA entity operates within its licence obligations and local regulatory requirements. You will manage regulatory reporting, advise senior management, and lead risk assessments in a dynamic, global asset-management environment.

The role requires CMA licences, strong regulatory knowledge, and fluent Arabic and English communication. You will collaborate with HR, Risk, and business units to foster a robust compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
• At least five years’ experience in financial services with compliance or regulatory focus.
• Candidate must hold CMA licences/authorisations.
• Extensive knowledge of the local KSA regulatory framework and inspection processes.
• Solid understanding of asset management of mutual funds and institutional business.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the Compliance Framework aligning with regulations and business goals.
• Serve as the registered Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for the KSA entity.
• Provide compliance and regulatory advice to senior management and staff.
• Advise on risk management processes and regulatory expectations.
• Develop and deliver compliance and risk training programs.
• Lead compliance and corporate risk assessments for new products and activities.
• Oversee the Compliance and Risk Monitoring Programme and remediation actions.
• Act as the primary regulatory liaison with CMA and industry bodies.
