Job summary

SLS The Red Sea is seeking a Kids Club Animator to bring energy, creativity, and fun to children’s activities at our resort. You will work closely with the Kids Club team to lead engaging activities, ensure safety, and create memorable holiday moments for families.

Ideal candidates have childcare experience, are energetic and patient, with fluent English and a collaborative spirit. This on-site role offers opportunities to contribute to themed events and seasonal programs in a luxury lifestyle

Qualifications

• Experience in childcare, recreation, education, hospitality, entertainment or similar roles as outlined in the job description.
• Experience in hotels, resorts, Kids Clubs, schools or nurseries is advantageous.
• Fluent English communication is required.
• First Aid and CPR certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support daily Kids Club operations and keep children engaged, entertained and supervised.
• Welcome families and introduce activities and programs.
• Lead activities such as arts, crafts, games, storytelling, music and movement.
• Create age-appropriate experiences and adapt to group sizes and interests.
• Support themed events, seasonal programs, and special Kids Club activities.
• Prepare activity areas and ensure materials are ready for each session.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized and welcoming environment.
• Follow sign-in/out procedures and ensure children are released to authorized guardians.
• Communicate any allergies or needs to the team.
• Adhere to health, safety, hygiene and safeguarding procedures.
• Collaborate with the Kids Club Supervisor for smooth operations.
• Contribute creative ideas for new games and memorable guest experiences.

Job Description

At SLS The Red Sea, our youngest guests deserve experiences just as memorable as everyone else. As a Kids Club Animator, you will bring energy, creativity, and fun to every activity while creating a safe and welcoming environment where children can play, explore, and make unforgettable holiday memories. Working closely with the Kids Club team, you will lead engaging activities, connect naturally with children and families, and bring the playful spirit of SLS to every game, craft, story, and special moment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of the Kids Club and ensure children are engaged, entertained, and supervised at all times.
• Welcome children and their families warmly and introduce them to Kids Club activities and programs.
• Lead and participate in activities such as arts & crafts, games, storytelling, music, movement, and creative play.
• Create fun and engaging experiences suited to different ages, group sizes, and interests.
• Support themed events, seasonal programs, celebrations, and special Kids Club activities.
• Prepare activity areas and ensure materials, toys, and equipment are ready before each session.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming Kids Club environment.
• Follow child check-in and check-out procedures and ensure children are released only to authorized guardians.
• Remain attentive to allergies, special requirements, and individual needs and communicate them appropriately.
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and child safeguarding procedures.
• Work closely with the Kids Club Supervisor and team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Contribute creative ideas for new games, activities, and memorable experiences for young guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare, recreation, education, hospitality, entertainment, or a similar role involving children is preferred.
• Experience within a hotel, resort, Kids Club, school, nursery, or organized recreational environment is an advantage.
• Naturally friendly, energetic, patient, and comfortable engaging with children.
• Creative and confident in leading games, activities, and group entertainment.
• Strong awareness of child safety with the ability to balance fun and responsibility.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English communication skills are required.
• First Aid and Child CPR certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain it as required.
• Organized, responsible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and able to maintain positive energy in a fast-paced resort environment.
