Job summary

SLS The Red Sea is seeking a Kids Club Animator to energize and lead activities for young guests, creating a safe, welcoming environment in a luxury resort setting.

You will collaborate with the Kids Club team, engage children through games, crafts, stories and movement, and ensure smooth operation while maintaining high safety and service standards in a fast-paced resort environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent English communication is required.
• First Aid and CPR certification is preferred or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of the Kids Club and ensure children are engaged, entertained and supervised at all times.
• Welcome children and their families and introduce them to Kids Club activities and programs.
• Lead and participate in activities such as arts & crafts, games, storytelling, music and movement.
• Create fun experiences suitable for different ages, group sizes and interests.
• Support themed events, seasonal programs and special Kids Club activities.
• Prepare activity areas and ensure materials, toys and equipment are ready before each session.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized and welcoming Kids Club environment.
• Follow check-in/check-out procedures and ensure children are released only to authorized guardians.
• Be attentive to allergies and special requirements and communicate them appropriately.
• Follow health, safety, hygiene and child safeguarding procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of the Kids Club and ensure children are engaged entertained and supervised at all times
• Welcome children and their families warmly and introduce them to Kids Club activities and programs
• Lead and participate in activities such as arts amp crafts games storytelling music movement and creative play
• Create fun and engaging experiences suited to different ages group sizes and interests
• Support themed events seasonal programs celebrations and special Kids Club activities
• Prepare activity areas and ensure materials toys and equipment are ready before each session
• Maintain a safe clean organized and welcoming Kids Club environment
• Follow child check-in and check-out procedures and ensure children are released only to authorized guardians
• Remain attentive to allergies special requirements and individual needs and communicate them appropriately
• Follow all health safety hygiene and child safeguarding procedures
• Work closely with the Kids Club Supervisor and team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Contribute creative ideas for new games activities and memorable experiences for young guests

Previous experience in childcare, recreation, education, hospitality, entertainment, or a similar role involving children is preferred. Experience within a hotel, resort, Kids Club, school, nursery, or organized recreational environment is an advantage. Naturally friendly, energetic, patient, and comfortable engaging with children. Creative and confident in leading games, activities, and group entertainment. Strong awareness of child safety with the ability to balance fun and responsibility. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent English communication skills are required. First Aid and Child CPR certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain it as required. Organized, responsible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexible and able to maintain positive energy in a fast-paced resort environment.
