Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in Network Security, Application Security, or Security Operations.
• Hands-on deployment experience with Firewalls, WAF/WAAP, Load Balancers, or API Security tools.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (L4–L7, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS).
• Basic understanding of API concepts (REST, JSON, authentication mechanisms).
• Experience working on Linux environments.
• Ability to analyze logs, traffic flows, and security alerts.

Job Title: Junior Resident Security Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Resident Security Engineer to be embedded at a customer site and support the deployment, operation, and optimization of network and application security solutions. This role is ideal for hands‑on security engineers with a strong foundation in network security and WAF/API protection technologies, looking to grow deeper into API and application security.

Key Responsibilities

• Support hands‑on deployment, configuration, and maintenance of security solutions such as Firewalls, WAF/WAAP, Server Load Balancers, and API Security tools
• Work with technologies like Imperva, F5, Cequence, or similar platforms
• Assist in onboarding applications and APIs into security platforms
• Monitor security traffic, alerts, and events; support initial investigation and escalation
• Help tune security policies and rules to reduce false positives
• Collaborate closely with customer Network, Security, and DevOps teams
• Follow defined runbooks and assist in documentation and knowledge transfer
• Act as the on-site technical support point under guidance from senior engineers
