Euro Staffs is hiring a Junior Accountant to join the finance team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position is full-time and on-site, with 1–3 years of accounting experience. The role emphasizes ERP systems, inventory accounting, VAT support, and accurate data entry.

The candidate will work closely with warehouse and operations teams to keep stock records accurate and aligned with ERP data, supporting month-end closes and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, PivotTables, lookups).
• Experience with inventory accounting, stock reconciliation and inventory valuation.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily accounting transactions and journal entries.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records within the ERP system.
• Collaborate with warehouse and operations to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Perform inventory reconciliations between physical stock and ERP records.
• Assist with periodic stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory movements, adjustments, and stock valuation.
• Understand and apply inventory valuation principles and costing methods.
• Assist with VAT-related accounting and supporting documentation.
• Prepare reports and perform accounting/data analysis using Excel.

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in accounting principles, practical experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, and a good understanding of inventory accounting and stock management.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily accounting transactions and journal entries.
• Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records within the company's ERP system.
• Work closely with the warehouse and operations teams to ensure inventory records are accurate.
• Perform inventory reconciliations between physical stock and ERP records.
• Assist with periodic stock counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Practical experience using ERP/accounting systems.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, lookups, and data analysis.
• Experience with inventory accounting, stock keeping, stock reconciliation, and inventory valuation.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must currently be located in Saudi Arabia.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous accounting experience in a manufacturing or factory environment.
• Experience working with ERP inventory, purchasing, manufacturing, and accounting modules.
• Familiarity with Odoo ERP is an advantage.
• Understanding of product costing and manufacturing costs is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Saudi VAT and ZATCA requirements is an advantage.
• Arabic and English communication skills are preferred.
