Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Jr Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance duties and respond to reactive calls on material handling systems at the airport environment. You will troubleshoot and repair machinery, conveyors, ATR systems, and baggage handling equipment in compliance with electrical drawings and manuals.

We require a diploma or higher in Electrical/Electromechanical, 3+ years in electro-mechanical maintenance, basic PLC/PC knowledge, and CMMS experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher in Electrical/Electromechanical required.
• 3+ years electro-mechanical or electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings/prints.
• 2+ years material handling experience preferred.
• 1+ year CMMS experience.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Basic knowledge of PLC/PC control systems.
• Must obtain and maintain Airport ID Badge.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance duties and reactive calls on material handling systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment and electrical systems per specifications.
• Work with conveyors, baggage handling equipment, and ATR systems following diagrams and manuals.

Job Description

Service Technician II will be performing maintenance duties and reactive calls to Material handling System to ensure productivity and output, equipment asset availability, health & safety compliance, quality. Not limited to: Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains machinery and electrical equipment such as motors, electrical circuits, ATR systems, baggage handling equipment and conveyor systems in accordance with diagrams, electrical drawings, operational manuals, and manufacturer's specifications using hand tools and precision measuring and testing instruments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher (Electrical/Electromechanical)
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Electro-mechanical or electrical maintenance
• Requires understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings/prints
• Minimum 2 years of material handling experience (Preferable)
• Minimum 1 year CMMS experience.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Basic knowledge of controls (PLC, PC) systems.
• Must be able to attain and sustain an Airport ID Badge
